A UASUSA Tempest provides a lower cost alternative to expensive full size aircraft for pipeline and power line inspection. They can also be flown into areas, altitudes, and weather conditions that are unsafe for manned aircraft. Because of its extremely efficient design, the Tempest provides a great alternative to other small UAS. Our aircraft will be able to stay aloft longer, and travel longer distances.

The Tempest is the perfect UAV for this application and can be fitted with cameras and other remote sensing equipment.

The Tempest can provide a live video feed for security inspection using an EO (daytime camera) or infrared camera. The onboard camera can also deliver high quality raster files suitable for post-processing into a geo-referenced mosaic of the entire line.

The Tempest possesses dynamic performance, something critical in the emerging civil drone market. It is fully autonomous, with point-and-click waypoints on a remote tablet, and has a very user-friendly interface.

The Recon

The Recon was constructed and designed to offer a clear payload view, with the motor and propeller system aft of the payload. It is smaller and more versatile than many drones, yet robust enough for harsh environment operations. The wingspan is 2.3 meters. An affordable, versatile, and flexible drone for a multitude of uses.
